The 2006 Eagles are a top Tier 1 team committed to playing at the highest level. We expect to compete for a provincial gold medal and are focused on attending nationals in 2021. The team consists of a core of talented, hard working players dedicated to advancing their skills and placing the interests of the team above their own. We practice regularly all year and expect players and parents to commit their summer to tournament play, both in Canada and the US.

10 years softball coaching experience including Whitby Lightning House League & Select. The last 3 seasons I have been with the Whitby Eagles. My own daughters no longer play at this level but I want to continue to share my love of the game with players while teaching and improving their skills. A main focus is on team building and teammates supporting each other to form a stronger group. We play hard, play to win and improve both as players and people through the process. This past year with the impact Covid 19 has had on our sport, it has been very difficult on everyone in the program, and I'm looking forward to getting back on track in the new season ahead!
I take pride in building a 'Team Based' culture that enhances morale and permits learning the fundamentals of the sport along with learning “how to play the game within the game”. With 20 plus years involved in the game myself, I have learned that team culture is crucial to the performance of the team. We will build on that culture and learning environment with a strong coaching staff, who are all committed to our team and our players' development. Our Team Motto is "Show Up Every Time".

For the past 40 years I have been part of the softball community, and still believe in the same principles I was taught when I started playing. My teams are based on teamwork, dedication and hard work. We strive to compete every game, while remembering to have fun!
